Greensted

Lilliput Lane's model "Greensted Church" is modelled on St Andrew's at Greensted in Essex.

This is:

	The world's oldest wooden Church
	Europe's oldest wooden building
	(which implies the world's oldest wooden building is not a church and is outside Europe -- any guesses?)

Near to Greensted is the Green man at Toot Hill. We visited there on July 23, 2002 with Charlie & Abby	Charlie noticed a cockerel behind the bar...."Oh that's James" said the barmaid. Afterwards we found him witha friend outside under a car!
