Redford- Judy Basile is a firm believer that she can do anything she sets her mind to. And the owner of I Can Do That! Spends the majority of her time each day proving that to her clients. "I spent years working in an office, helping other people, giving them advice and planning events for them," Basile said. "I kept saying, I can do that, I can do that, and oh, I can do that, too. So one day, I just decided that Im going to go out and do whatever that is." Since Basile started domestic and professional services company last June, she has worn many hats, offering services such as professional shopping, event planning, house sitting, moving arrangements, bulk mailing and home decorating. You name it and she can do it, Basile said. "Im flamboyant, I have a lot of skills and I have a wide variety of resources to draw from," Basile said. "This company is a service of services." Basile charges her list of more than 20 clients between $20 and $30 an hour for the companys services. Basile said the company is ideal for those who dont have time to run errands and plan special events. "Many families have a lot of expendable income, but not much time. If they give me a little money, Ill give them their time back," Basile said. "I love doing something new and exciting every day for my clients. So I just tell them to let me do it." And that is exactly what Joanne Love of Livonia did. Love is colorblind and during the past two months has spent about $250 on Basiles shopping services. "Ive been know to wear red and fuchsia at the same time, so I try to stick with blacks and whites, but then I get the navy confused with black," Love said. "She helped to pick out clothes for me, so I look nice. The company is great."
